As someone who is only slightly more than a casual fan of the Harry Potter series, I’ve had so much fun re-introducing myself to the books through this podcast. I love how the podcast is spoiler-free, so it feels like I am finding the books again for the first time. The five chapter recaps are super entertaining and I love hearing the thoughts of Riley and Lorelei. Melissa and Luke are great hosts and provide thoughtful insights. I can’t wait to hear more!

I love this pod. Luke and Melissa run it well and do a really great job keeping the discussion about what we know so far until they get to the “unrestricted sections.” The different sections of each episode are fun and well thought out. Keep it up!
P.S. Abby as the biased quidditch analyst is especially great!

This is a great way to experience Harry Potter! Luke and Melissa are funny and have great charisma together! The podcast gets me thinking about Harry Potter in ways I’ve never thought of before! I’ve read the books at least 20-30 times each, and this is a great way to relive the story. Highly recommend!!!

As a fellow st louisan myself and only recently found out about this amazing podcast i am absolutely loving listening to the recap of the entire series. Harry Potter is one Brooke series that i continuously reread over and over. I enjoy the break down of each chapter, the magicabulary, and when all the characters make their debut. Still listening and playing the catch up game till i am current with the story line each week! Thank you Melissa and Luke! The two of you are fantastic beasts lol!

I have read the books already and still find it fun to go listen to people discuss the books chapter by chapter because I am reliving it in my mind.

I've listened to all the podcasts by Luke & Melissa, and I have to say: I've learned more--and THOUGHT more--about the story, the backstory, the events behind the story, the characters who make the story...
Because I've watched the films so many times, it's hard for me to separate the book from the film, but Luke & Melissa are sticklers for "what happens where" in their discussion.
It's also really great to hear from a first-time reader during the 5-chap recap episodes.
