  • Very informative!

I love this podcast!! I started listening when I was new to running (been eating a plant based diet for much longer than I’ve been running) and I always find it very interesting! Coach Claire has a very good voice and precise way of speaking and conveying information! I just wish the episodes were longer so they didn’t stop halfway through my runs! And I wish she had more episodes about plant based nutrition—I feel like she never talks about it!

How To Prep For Sydney and Chicago in Steamy Singapore
Q: What is the best way to handle pre-race anxiety and race-day nerves?
Avoid forcing sleep the night before; prioritize a strong-week routine and a calm warm-up playlist to reduce nervous system arousal, and reframe anxiety as excitement to leverage it as a stimulus for performance.
How To Prep For Sydney and Chicago in Steamy Singapore
Q: Is six weeks enough recovery to do back-to-back marathons, and how should we approach tuning the plan for Sydney and Chicago?
Sydney should be the primary focus with Chicago as a backup; recoveries are possible but require careful pacing and option to treat Chicago as a secondary target if Sydney goes well. Use tune-up races strategically to test fitness 12-14 weeks out and again 4-6 weeks out, with the second option serving as a pace rehearsal or harder effort depending on how Sydney unfolds.
