  • Great podcast

Dear Jack, you are an excellent host and I have learned lots of new information from your interviews. Your questions are way too lengthy to a point where there are times I have totally lost the context of your question. Apart from that this is a great CPD platform. Thanks,

  • Sound fluctuations

Hi jack. I love what you do, but I’m no longer able to listen to your podcasts due to the fluctuation in the sound quality. The intro music can be loud then your into soft or your questions soft then your interviewees response loud. It’s caused my ears to pop and ring as I already have hearing issues. I haven’t experienced this with any other podcast I listen to. I’d love to continue to listen, but can’t so thought you should know that other might have the same issues.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Is Shockwave Shocking? Chewing It Over with Nick Ilic
Q: What did the author find about the mechanisms of shockwave therapy?
There are many proposed mechanisms and a lot of interesting basic science, but the jury is still out on clear, universally applicable mechanisms; in practice, effects may be due to neuromodulation and local inflammatory processes rather than a single, well-defined mechanism.
Booking.com for MSK... Chewing It Over with Wesley Clarke-Sullivan
Q: What problem is Medimo trying to solve in MSK private healthcare?
Medimo aims to create a transparent, patient-centric marketplace that shows live availability across providers, helping patients quickly find and book MSK appointments while providing clinicians with a broader, credible reach.
A Collaborative View For Industry Support - Chewing It Over with Jim Carr | Eos Active
Q: What do you see as being the key way of differentiating that product versus message focus?
Jim explains that differentiating lies in moving away from a sole product focus toward a broader, patient-centered message and pathway approach, emphasizing long-term value over quick sales.
That AI Physio Service - Chewing It Over with Finn Stevenson
Q: What are the main outcomes from the NHS deployment?
The NHS deployment reduced spinal wait times by about 55%, cut MSK wait times by 44%, and freed up clinician hours, while most patients reported equal or better experiences compared to face-to-face care and notable symptom improvements.
That AI Physio Service - Chewing It Over with Finn Stevenson
Q: How do you ensure safety and correctness in an AI-driven care pathway?
We use a rule-based language tailored to clinical reasoning, with mathematical safety constraints, extensive pre-live testing, synthetic-patient simulations, and batch-then-live deployment to minimize drift and unpredictability.
