She's standing at the kitchen counter, eyes welling up: "I'm the only kid in my whole grade without a phone." And just like that, you're the villain in your kid's story. If you've ever felt your resolve crack in real time over something like this, th... more

You don't need to choose between being a loving parent and a firm one. So many parents leave gentle parenting behind… only to swing too far into coldness, constant correction, exhaustion, and guilt. You start holding boundaries, but suddenly you feel... more

Avital is always spot on! I love her intelligence and experience since many years.
She recorded the most vile propaganda for the IDF last year and I want to warn anybody who has been fooled by her that she is a Zionist. She said the most unhinged stuff and spewed so many lies in that video. This review is to save anybody else who is against genocide from using this vile woman for parenting advice
I use to love her content, but suddenly it has changed its tone. Never ever let a baby cry it out. Also, whats with the anti feminist content? Totally different than her original content.... more
I LOVE this podcast and can’t get enough of it. I’ve tried others and quickly abandon them thinking, “I can’t be this perfect! This is crazy.” Avital coaches in a way that feels sane, achievable and supportive. It has helped me so much with my relationship with my children and also with my relationship with myself and my partner. She is brilliant. And I get the sense when I’m listening that she’s caring for me as a mother the way she cares for her children; holding up high standards and at ... more
This episode should be made a “have-to” episode for each and every parent to listen to!! I’ve been thinking for so long and now that I have kids I found the balance, gentle and authoritarian parenting by themselves don’t work, we create unhealthy children, but finding the balance can save the kids of the future, community, values, boundaries, create resilient children!!!
