These two Paper Trail podcasters are the editor and publisher of the local Tulare County newspaper "The Sun-Gazette" . They seem to have lost the journalistic ethic to provide unbiased, factual coverage of stories. It almost seemed like they were paid members of the Tulare County DA media spin team in episode 118 which is no longer available
Unfortunately, even though these guys run a paper covering Tulare County, they rarely miss a chance in an episode to bash the county. I had high hopes of getting local news coverage in a podcast format, and mostly you will get that, but not without snide remarks about the local demographics. More news fellas. Less opinion.
Please check out the 12-26-75 podcast. All of the research into the Exeter and Visalia murder(s) has been done and I’m sure they’d gladly share the exhaustive search that they’ve done.
I have beeen a podcast junkie for a long time and have now found a local one and the guys do a good job. They mix fun with interviews and I have really learned a lot even though I thought I knew it all. ;-)
