  • It’s like crafting sports radio!

I first found your podcast in 2022 when one of my German Shepherds ate a toy and had to have it surgically removed. I made myself a pallet in the floor next to her to make sure she didn’t chew on her stitches and to help her feel safe. I was so happy to find your podcast! Every night I’d listen to a different podcast as we fell asleep. It sounds silly to say but it was a bright spot in the middle of a trying time. Thank you!

  • Pam is great, but…

Videos are unhelpful on a podcast where you cannot see what Pam is talking about. I’m not a fan of this new trend at all. Choose either a podcast or stick to You Tube.

  • Come for the Great Storytelling, Stay for the Amazing, Fun Ideas with Paper

Pam’s YouTube videos are an absolute delight…and I must say her podcast highlights what makes her videos so watchable - great storytelling and conversational banter! (And OF COURSE stellar paper crafting skills!)

Pam has a great ability to make you feel as though you’re having a craft and coffee date with a beloved friend. She’s hilarious, brilliant and a little bit irreverent when it comes to “the rules” of paper crafting. Her famous mantra says it all: “Craft with Reckless Abandon!” (also, “... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S8Ep16 Your crafty questions! 😊
Q: Pam addresses a question about microwaving washi tape to help peel it off more easily.
Pam describes a careful method: heat the roll in short bursts of three to five seconds, then test peeling; avoid long heating as it can cause damage, and adapt the timing to different microwaves, followed by resealing and safely continuing work at the craft table.
S8Ep16 Your crafty questions! 😊
Q: Londi Cawthon asks why you spray your ink pad with water.
Pam explains she spritzes ink pads to rehydrate dried inks when they're exposed to air, especially after being left open; she notes that you can wake up a pad by spritzing the dauber or reintroducing water, and that the color will return as long as there is still pigment left in the pad.
S8Ep16 Your crafty questions! 😊
Q: Question, what is the best way you have personally for journaling an awesome trip overseas?
Pam suggests collecting travel mementos like napkins, restaurant names, and menus; taking odd, memorable photos that focus on details (like a statue's elbow or a doorway); incorporating food and menu images; and creating a dedicated travel junk journal to memorialize each journey with a mix of ephemera, photos, and small keepsakes.
S8Ep15 your crafty questions! 😊
Q: What can you do with a journal and how do you use it?
You can journal in them, write on pages and cards, doodle or create art, and even design them as seek-and-find or exploration books; the purpose is flexible and up to the creator and recipient.
VP S6 Ep 299: Masterboard!
Q: Did I just miss why the holes for signatures aren't evenly spaced?
Pam explains she deliberately spaces the holes unevenly to distinguish the top from the bottom of the signature, allowing for quick identification without measuring.
