  • Still One of my favorites!

I have been listening to the Whole View for a very long time—many years to be more exact. I was disappointed when Sarah left the show, but actually, I am enjoying the show even more now that Stacy has taken over the reins. She has a wide variety of topics which are always well researched. It is always fun listening to this podcast each week, and if you are lucky, sometimes there will be a bonus episode! Keep up the good work, and keep digging for all of the science-backed, evidence-based resea... more

I was in the middle of the Candida episode which I was LOVING! With the guy speaker she brought on. He was nailing it. Teaching me things I didn’t even think to try about my own candida journey. That supplements may make it worse, that once it’s an overgrowth you may be past the main candida and gave me a list of the muster types of it to look in to. Totally nailing it that GMO foods, toxic vaccine ingredients we’re feeding the problem. And the podcast host cut him right off in the middle of his... more

GLP-1 Medications Beyond Weight Loss: What the Science Actually Shows About Semaglutide
Q: So can you talk a little bit about the science of beyond weight loss, what GLP-1s are showing us in the science, and overall what that could mean for people?
GLP-1s influence blood sugar, insulin, and appetite, but they also dampen systemic inflammation by acting on immune pathways and broad receptor sites. They may improve gut integrity, shift immune balance, and offer potential benefits for autoimmune conditions and menopause-related immune changes, making them relevant for more than just weight management.
Is This a Midlife Crisis or a Wake-Up Call? w/ Wendy Valentine
Q: Wendy, can you tell people where they can find that podcast and a little bit about yourself?
The Midlife Makeover Show is everywhere you listen to podcasts, and wendyvalentine.com is the main hub. She's the author of Women Waking Up, host of The Midlife Makeover Show, and creator of midlifeology.net.
Hormone Pioneer Myth-Busts Aging, HRT and Anxiety during (Peri)Menopause
Q: What symptoms should women be aware of that are often misdiagnosed?
Symptoms like low energy, anxiety, and irregular bleeding are often misdiagnosed during perimenopause; advocating for comprehensive tests is crucial.
Hormone Pioneer Myth-Busts Aging, HRT and Anxiety during (Peri)Menopause
Q: What would be the ideal care plan for women experiencing hormonal changes?
Women should proactively seek to understand and manage their hormone levels starting in their late 30s to prevent decline.
Hormone Pioneer Myth-Busts Aging, HRT and Anxiety during (Peri)Menopause
Q: Can you talk about that so that people can understand the misinformation regarding hormone treatments?
The Women's Health Initiative study was deeply flawed because it involved women who were already post-menopausal, thus missing the window where hormone-related issues begin affecting health.
