  • Great women body education!

I love how much I have learned about my own body! I wish someone like my doctor would have told me all this back in my teens. I’m so excited to pass this knowledge onto my girls so they can prepare their bodies to grow babies if they decide that for themselves or else hush so they know how to feel good every time of the month and not rely on painkillers like candy!

16: The Questions Women Are Asking About Hormones Over 35, Answered by Women's Hormone Health and Functional Nutrition Expert
Q: What about creatine for women post-35 for muscle and cognitive health—any hormone considerations?
Creatine helps counteract age-related muscle loss and may support cognitive function; it does not directly alter hormones, but since estrogen and progesterone influence creatine production, continuing daily supplementation post-35 is reasonable; commonly 5 grams daily is effective.
16: The Questions Women Are Asking About Hormones Over 35, Answered by Women's Hormone Health and Functional Nutrition Expert
Q: For a 38-year-old with AMH 0.8 and one ovary, is IVF worth it and how to prepare?
If pursuing IVF, use ergothianine to support ovarian reserve and optimize responder status; use FLO Living preconception supplements; ensure DHA/Omega-7 intake; track hormones with a Mira device to confirm luteal phase and consider bioidentical vaginal progesterone if needed under medical supervision.
16: The Questions Women Are Asking About Hormones Over 35, Answered by Women's Hormone Health and Functional Nutrition Expert
Q: What should a 36-year-old with acne around the chin do to rebalance hormones?
Track symptoms with MyFLO app, assess timing relative to the cycle, examine gut health and microbiome, consider stool testing with Tiny Health or Evvy, support liver function with gentle herbs like milk thistle and dandelion tea, ensure adequate micronutrient stores (zinc, B vitamins), and evaluate progesterone levels across the luteal phase to sustain balance.
16: The Questions Women Are Asking About Hormones Over 35, Answered by Women's Hormone Health and Functional Nutrition Expert
Q: Is there any way to reverse perimenopause, especially for someone who wants children?
There isn't a reversal of perimenopause; aging ovaries is a lifelong process. Focus on slowing ovarian aging with ergothionine, Vitex, melatonin with selenium and zinc, better sleep, muscle-building exercise, and blood sugar control to support fertility and hormonal health.
16: The Questions Women Are Asking About Hormones Over 35, Answered by Women's Hormone Health and Functional Nutrition Expert
Q: What about my gym clothes, lingerie, or dresses and their synthetic components affecting hormones, and how should I dress to minimize exposure?
Wear fabrics that are predominantly organic cotton with a small amount of stretch (under 5% blends), wash on cool and air-dry to minimize microplastic release, and favor cotton sports bras and lingerie for near lymphatic nodes and sweat areas to reduce exposure.
