  • Good content, bad audio

Great content and guests, especially the Q&A episodes. But as others have said, the audio quality is so jerky and bad it’s distracting - you need to change whatever editing software you’re using.

  • Audio Editing is awful

I used to listen to this podcast all of the time but whatever tool they’re using to automatically remove filler words (at least it seems like that’s what’s happening) makes listening feel so awkward that I can’t handle it anymore. Every sentence feels like it gets cut off halfway through. Please stop so I can get back to listening.

  • Get to the point

Literally said the same thing for the first 8 minutes about net new customers. He’s speaking on increasing top line revenue and if I’m a buyer listening to this guy sell, I’d interrupt and end the call. Snooze fest.

SaaStr 856: AI-Native GTM 101: The 5 Decisions Every Founder Has to Get Right with Owner's CRO
Q: Where should a founder start with AI in GTM?
Begin with data: map your market with third-party data, identify top accounts, and enrich profiles and needs. Then instrument the customer journey to enable meaningful AI experiments and improvements.
SaaStr 858: Feature Differentiation Is Dead. Here's What Actually Wins Now with Lovable's Elena Verna
Q: What's one of the most successful growth features you've shipped at Lovable?
The emphasis on live data connectors and AI-native workflows that can be deployed immediately, letting customers build and iterate rapidly by connecting to sources like BigQuery, Notion, or Slack, and using the agent as a real-time decision-maker and co-pilot.
SaaStr 858: Feature Differentiation Is Dead. Here's What Actually Wins Now with Lovable's Elena Verna
Q: Hey Elena, what was the biggest shift in growth strategy when moving to Lovable compared to your previous roles at large SaaS companies?
SEO and paid marketing are now baseline expectations rather than differentiators; the focus has shifted to sustainable growth through social-building, freemium strategies, and enabling the product to drive demand, with a strong emphasis on product-led growth and real-time customer activation.
SaaStr 849: How We Built Our AI VP of Customer Success with SaaStr's CEO and CAIO
Q: What are the security considerations when using AI agents with sensitive data?
Do not store sensitive data directly in the agent; use data hops, separate systems like Salesforce for contracts, and implement secure single sign-on and access controls to minimize data exposure while maintaining automation benefits.
SaaStr 849: How We Built Our AI VP of Customer Success with SaaStr's CEO and CAIO
Q: How should someone start building a similar AI VP in their business?
Begin with a detailed spec, then deploy on a low-code platform, test every function thoroughly, and gradually expand capabilities through agent hopping and data integrations, ensuring security and production readiness at each step.
