  • Not medical, not neurology. This is chiropractic sales pitch

A chiropractic adjustment can do wonders to somebody who has back issues or alignment issues. They are not qualified to address neurological conditions.

  • Fascinating!

I listened to Patrick K. Porter, Ph.D, talk about brain tapping. I had heard others talk about it before, but shrugged it off as something that wasn’t beneficial. After really listening, I know I was wrong. One statistic stands out for me. 65% of 50-65 year-old women taking a 6-week session increased their neuroplasticity. They were taken off the spectrum for Alzheimer’s. Wow! We need to think about these types of solutions. Thank you Dr. Joe!

Understanding the complexity of TBI is not easy, great to have a valid discussion of it and how it relates to sports and avoiding post concussive syndrome.

Brain Health In Mixed Martial Arts with Chris Cannon of M2MMA
Q: Where do you see the next 15–20 years for these sports to survive while becoming safer?
Through a data-driven ecosystem that personalizes training, tracking of health metrics, better regulation-informed protocols, and incentives for data sharing that improve safety and performance, not by shutting down the sport.
Brain Health In Mixed Martial Arts with Chris Cannon of M2MMA
Q: And how can you balance a sport with such a high risk in a way where you're trying to keep people fighting?
By providing athletes with data-driven insight to optimize training, recovery, and safety, so they perform better over a longer period while reducing injury risk, rather than simply trying to prevent competition.
Assessing and Treating Neurodevelopmental Disorders with Dr. Conner Bor
Q: How do you handle the role of technology in treatment, especially for families wanting quick results?
Technology is a tool to enhance, not replace, foundational therapy. We emphasize activating the body through movement and sensory input while concurrently applying neuromodulation to boost brain networks. The goal is to integrate technology thoughtfully within a broader, evidence-based plan and set realistic timelines for improvement.
Assessing and Treating Neurodevelopmental Disorders with Dr. Conner Bor
Q: What makes your approach to neurodevelopment different from traditional pediatric therapies?
We examine how different systems—neurologic, vestibular, reflexive, sensory, and motor—interact, rather than isolating one area. We use a bottom-up foundation (reflexes, sensory-motor integration) plus top-down considerations (prefrontal regulation) and pair therapies with modalities like laser, vibration, and neuromodulation to create synergistic effects.
Creatine For Your Brain with Mark Faulkner of CON-CRĒT Creatine HCl
Q: What are your thoughts on the long-term potential of creatine for neurological health and future research directions?
Long-term potential lies in creatine's ability to support brain energy metabolism and resilience against neurodegeneration, concussion, and chemo-related cognitive issues. Ongoing research is exploring broader medical indications, including TBI/concussion and cancer therapy tolerance, with early data showing promising improvements in brain energy and symptom management.
