I really wanted to love this podcast- love seeing an Australian woman thriving out there in the wild world! - but the science and impartiality of each episode is undermined by the number of ham-fisted ads selling gimmicky products masquerading as science. The host flip flops based on the guests’ opinions and she lands as convincingly as the social media influencers she (rightly) lambasts. Super disappointing.
I love the content. It’s fantastic, applicable, and clearly communicated. I listened to a 28 minute podcast. I would love to share with my son and wife, but it’s irritating to have four product placements that you have to fast forward past. I understand that products pay for the show, but can you cut it down to one or two? Otherwise it’s fantastic.
I fully understand the need to monetize and I’m not putting anyone down for making money, but the amount of ads and the amount of supplements that are pushed on the show is excessive. And it’s really too bad because I absolutely love the content.
Frequency of ads / recommended items is every three minutes or so. Detracts from content and reflection to such an extent, it’s not worth listening. Anyone sensible knows that persistent adverts devalue. Please lessen these interminable interruptions, far too many in each session!
