  • Best Cycling podcast

It’s hard to put my finger on what exactly is the best thing about this podcast. I think it’s the fact that it feels like a bs session with two old cycling friends. I currently pay for the escape collective and I think this is of equal quality to any of their podcasts.

  • Truly no. 1 Cycling Podcast/Show

By far and away the best balance of tech, vibes, scandal, hype, and info density on all things cycling. Every episode is a staple in my weekly routine either on the trainer, out for walk, or over coffee. I have recommended the Nero Show to anyone with ears and the slightest interest in bicycles.

  • Number 1 cycling pod

The best podcast in the sport of cycling. Yes, they focus on road, speed, slop or sauce, but it’s fire. A mix of anecdotal evidence and science/ testing. I nearly got out of the sport but listening to Jessie and Chris blab on re-inspired me. In any of my hobbies, I’m a sucker for gear chat. They do a great job with it. Best of all, they don’t have bike or wheel sponsors (basically). They will say what they feel and that’s really what we people want.

  • A great podcast!

Can highly recommend giving the Nero Show a listen if you’re into all things cycling no matter your ability or riding preferences! A fun and entertaining podcast that genuinely feels like a chat at the coffee shop post ride! Keep up the great work lads keen for many more episodes!

  • Knowledgeable with mild annoyance

Knowledgeable, high quality presenters covering news, tech, reviews and many other aspects of cycling. Episode lengths are rather long. Discussions that often ramble and stray from the topic or intermittent comical tangents prolong duration. Added commercials further prolong. But I will continue to follow because of the core content expertise, and utilize 30” advance button.

Speed Test: Aero Bike vs All-Road Bike | NERO Show
Q: What was the key takeaway about aero bikes vs gravel bikes at race speeds?
Aero bikes with fast front wheels and aero tires do provide speed advantages, but at typical club ride speeds around 40–45 km/h, the benefit decreases and comfort improves with wider tires; a two-wheel, do-it-all approach could be optimal for some riders, but real-world gains depend on tire width, wheel choice, and riding position.
Mads Würtz Schmidt on Leaving the WorldTour, Unbound Win & Specialized Tactics
Q: What makes peak training so focused now, and how does that contrast with your previous road calendar?
He explains moving to a highly controlled environment, with a clear race focus and tailored durability sessions, allowing precise peak timing for events like Unbound and Tracker 360, aided by advanced knowledge and a long-term coaching partnership.
Mads Würtz Schmidt on Leaving the WorldTour, Unbound Win & Specialized Tactics
Q: Mads, could you give us a quick overview of your road career and the transition from WorldTour to gravel pro?
He describes eight years in the WorldTour, early teams like Katusha-Alpecin, a mix of good and bad seasons, injuries, and the decision to switch to gravel after a difficult 2024 season, driven by a desire to race on his terms and leverage new sponsorship opportunities.
Dylan Johnson: Why Your Gravel Bike is Slow, Fixing Low Iron & Zone 2 Training
Q: How have your iron levels affected your training and recovery?
Low iron has complicated my recovery, especially after injuries, making it harder to get back to form.
Dylan Johnson: Why Your Gravel Bike is Slow, Fixing Low Iron & Zone 2 Training
Q: Could you recap how last season went in terms of results and your training?
Last season was challenging due to a significant injury from a crash, which limited my training and impacted my results. I couldn't regain my fitness by the end of the season.
