I am a new SAHM to a two month old baby girl. I don’t have a lot of mom friends and everyday when I’m cleaning my house, nursing my baby or making lunch I will put an episode on. It feels like I’m sitting down listening to my two mom friends talk about topics I struggle with or encouragement that I am not the only one. I love this podcast and i appreciate you both. 🫶
There is lots to learn from these women but unfortunately they have many bias that hinder their ability to really be cheerleaders for all types of moms; especially stay at home moms ( they make a couple digs at them in a couple episodes) and single moms. Their depth of knowledge and empathy start and end in their own lives and experiences with seemingly little empathy for someone living in a vastly different style/culture of motherhood. Great ladies! Just a heads up about the content.
Thankful for their genuine and honest hearts. So appreciate their wisdom and chats on all things parent, marriage and faith! Thank you!
As many say, it definitely feels like a chat with your girlfriends! I’ve grown to look forward to this every week. Jessie & Amanda have encouraged me as a first time mom I’m following my gut as a mama in so many areas. And to do it all in a way that honors Christ. I recommend this podcast to so many friends ❤️
This podcast, these women, their socials and a lot of help from Jesus have brought me back to life when I was at my lowest point in motherhood. I absolutely love being a mother but doing so in the modern world can be brutal. Jessie and Amanda have been such kind, loving, truth bearing individuals. Whether it be through the podcast or a private message on their social media page. 10/10 can recommend.
