  • Objectivity?

Fails to put the really hard questions to guests. Tucker Carlson has been awarded antisemite of the year by US civil rights groups and has consorted with far right activist Nick Fuentes who has raged against Jewish control in US politics. Any good journalist would ask Carlson about this and about his view of Jews but not Husain.

  • Brave!

Well done at getting two of the strongest personalities on Leave and Remain together (why didn’t the BBC do this?) Alistair won and Mishal just about controlled them, not easy!

  • First disappointment in an excellent series. Very bad mannered, not worth recording, save perhaps 2 minutes to show that feelings still run high 😧

  • Appalling post brexit podcast

I had to stop listening to two toddlers arguing on an adult broadcast. The ad hominem attacks were horrible. There was no control exercised to direct the guests to the topic and they had no desire to return to the topic. It was a terrible podcast !!

  • Good job moderating a tough debate on Brexit

Great to see someone do a good job pushing back and moderating a difficult discussion on Brexit. One small omission was not asking the “Leave” debater to mention the data set he was referring to. The “Remain” side was comprehensive in citing data sources.

Karen Hao on the Reckless Race for Global AI Power
Q: And not the founders. It sounds like you don't have faith in the actual people running these companies. Tell me the story of how you got to know him and the company back in the beginning of this work.
Hao explains her early reporting on OpenAI, the misalignment between promises and actions, and how the culture at the top—driven by an imperial mindset—shaped her critical view of leadership rather than endorsing any single founder as a solution.
