  • Liberated

Mishal is a cool operator. Good to hear her (unshackled by the BBC R4 straight jacket) calm, forensic interviews. She has a sliver of ice to deploy when the guest gets slippery.

  • Generic punditry, playing to its listeners’ bias

Warmed-over platitudes for profit, like so many other narcissistically grifting podcasts. The host was better as a newsreader than, as here, a faux-journalist shepherding a presumably sheeplike audience.

  • The Elon Musk interview!

I’m full of admiration for Mishal generally but for this interview she was brilliant. She showed so much grace and courage to face up to one of the most powerful men in the world. Never once did she lose her cool. Highly recommend. !
