  • Clear and Informative

    The interview with Baroness Brenda Hale was a model of its kind. Amol drew clear and incisive responses from her. It was a delight to hear this wonderful woman articulate complex matters in a language

    that is intelligible to anyone.

    We need more exponents of public policy and law with such qualities. Amol Rajan did a good job.

    As a teacher, I found the most recent episode on literacy and reading for pleasure absolutely fascinating and inspiring. Amol’s shameless love of high culture and challenging literature is infectious, as is his affection for his late father’s intellectual curiosity. I’m not sure how ‘radical’ the episode truly was though because of one sad truth I’ve discovered in the teaching profession: a number of teachers simply do not read themselves, so how do we expect schools to empower the next generat... more
