I’ve been listening to this podcast for maybe 10 years. I’ve always loved it. Sadly the advertisements now sound like commercials on television, and it ruins the whole vibe of the podcast. It’s unfortunate. I never minded when the podcast hosts would read the advertisements themselves, but now having Commercials intertwined, I just feel like I’m watching television.
Such a good podcast and message. It was simple and easy to understand. Sometimes the podcasts talk about real specific details and it’s difficult to understand and digest. This was a great basic message about the importance of muscle

Overall I liked the last podcast and do think there should be more psychedelics in a therapeutic setting. I do wish for more states to allow more than just ketamine. The therapist interviewed was great. From Jason’s one bad trip in the 90’s and hearing bad stories about trips to the jungle made his comments seem uneducated, western and white centered. Shaman led trips are the indigenous ways of healing. Many of these people are not out for a money grab from westerners. These are also not “fun” e... more
Kept an open mind but this show is mainly interviewing book selling doctors hyping unsupported nutra nonsense made this show a no go. For quality ear time head toward better informed shows with scientists and professionals who aren’t cherry picking results to support their option. Big thumbs down.
It was quite frustrating that Kristen didn’t offer any information or advice for people who do work unusual shifts. That’s the reality of life that some of us have to work at night; we can’t all get in bed at 9:15. I’m still at work at that time, and so are a lot of other people. Jason asked the question about NBA players and other athletes, but she didn’t answer it at all. It’s maddening that people in the wellness space seem often seem inflexible and unaware.
