  • This Podcast is Gold ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ll be honest that when I first heard this podcast I thought their back and forth banter was a little too cutesy for me. But I quickly realized the ease of the conversation and the way they interact is what makes this podcast so good. So many helpful tips and reassuring discussions here. I’m going back to listen to the early episodes I missed. Will also check out the YouTube channel for the somatic practices and techniques. 🙏🏻

After multiple car accidents I found myself injured and stuck in the pain cycle (still there) 4 years later. I’m grateful now to have found their podcast to affirm that my feelings are valid and that there is light at the end of the tunnel. It’s been a year or so and there’s a great feeling of hope that this podcast brought me. My only reason for 3 stars is that their recording is echoey, s... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Treat the Root Cause: Fatigue & Long Covid feat. Dr. Kennedy
Q: What helps patients begin to shift their symptoms in practice?
Listening to the body, doing somatic awareness, and engaging in emotional processing are crucial; understanding the brain's role is a starting point, but experiential body work proves changes when the person feels the brain and body in new ways.
Treat the Root Cause: Fatigue & Long Covid feat. Dr. Kennedy
Q: How do you explain the connection between brain signaling and body symptoms like fatigue or dizziness?
The brain creates protective signals that manifest as physical sensations; although the body can show biochemical changes, those are downstream effects of brain signaling, and addressing the brain's perception of danger reduces these symptoms.
Treat the Root Cause: Fatigue & Long Covid feat. Dr. Kennedy
Q: What should someone understand first when they come to this work?
Hope is essential, and many people have fully recovered from long COVID and fatigue by viewing symptoms as brain-generated signals rather than fixed body damage, which opens the door to recovery through neuroplastic approaches.
Work Somatically to Heal Trauma
Q: How can someone best consolidate that sense of safety and prevent fear for re-gripping during future body sensations?
By developing unique safety signals and gradually processing trauma memories with a focus on regulation and embodiment practices.
The Morning Routine That Can Rewire Your Brain & Heal Chronic Pain
Q: How does my morning routine impact me for the rest of my day?
It's important to assess how your morning routine supports or hinders your healing from chronic pain symptoms.
