We probably wouldn’t have this hideously criminal and incompetent administration if it weren’t for the morons in “the middle” of this country. Bunch of racist xenophobic ignorant cowards who support Trump.

  • From Balanced to Biased

I was excited to find this podcast because it promised balance and fair conversations, which is rare these days. As someone truly in the middle, I thought I had finally found a place that reflected that. Fast forward a year and a half, and it has swung hard left on nearly every topic. The guest lineup feels one-sided, and what started as refreshing has devolved into yet another echo chamber. Disappointing, and unfortunately, I’m done listening.

  • Great Show, Unique Topics and Perspective

Finally a show that covers the issues differently. Being critical of the current administration doesn’t mean you are “far left”. Just like being critical of the previous one (which some on this show were) doesn’t mean you are “far right”. We need to talk to each other and be critical when it counts regardless of party.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Are You Ready For Self-Driving Cars?
Q: What about safety after incidents, and how do the guests view this risk?
While there have been fatal and non-fatal incidents, experts argue that robotaxi safety is improving and that regulation, data transparency, and cautious expansion are essential to maintain public trust.
Are You Ready For Self-Driving Cars?
Q: What are the main regulatory hurdles from a federal versus state perspective?
Federal legislation has been discussed for years but not passed; many states have diverging rules, with some promoting testing while others restrict or fight deployment, leading to a patchwork of regulations.
Are You Ready For Self-Driving Cars?
Q: Joann, how fast are these self-driving taxis expanding into more cities and what are the patterns of deployment?
The expansion has been steady but selective, driven by market density and demand, with pilot programs growing into more cities over time, starting in dense urban corridors and gradually expanding to larger areas.
Will the Midterm Elections be Free and Fair?
Q: Do you think there can be bipartisan reforms to bolster election confidence without restricting access to voting?
Experts suggest that some overlap exists on issues like voter ID and ballot security, but partisan divides and ongoing political narratives make broad agreement difficult; focusing on local training, transparency, and proven safeguards could bridge gaps.
How is the War in Iran Affecting You?
Q: Given the ongoing negotiations, do you think any deal would be better or worse than the 2015 agreement, and what are the main sticking points?
Sherman explains that there is an enormous gap between what the administration wants and what Iran is willing to concede, particularly regarding enrichment limits and stockpiles, indicating that any deal would need to balance nonproliferation with diplomatic viability while avoiding a relapse into confrontation.
