  • Best. Podcast. Ever.

This is my favorite podcast ever!! It educates, empathizes , is realistic, and motivates for a better life! She gives tips and actual guidance without the sales pitch and vague solutions. I have probably turned already 30+ women of alllll ages to this podcast and it’s helped every single one of them! Even better: I’m only 26, but it still helps me with my own health and guides me in helping my clients. I’m so thankful for this podcast!!

  • Same thing over and over

I found this very useful at first but after so many podcast it just became so repetitive that I rarely listen anymore she can’t make it through a podcast without talking about cortisol and inflammation yeah it’s important but she goes on and on no matter what the topic is she brings it back to them and makes it sound like such a dooms day cycle that is insurmountable that I I never felt hopeful that I could be better

  • More solutions, less about the problems

I wanted to like this podcast because I’m in her demographic and I’m struggling with weight in perimenopause. But every episode I listened to was 90 percent about the problem and 10 percent about the solution. Maybe that’s because she’s trying to get people to sign on as clients. I don’t know. But it is frustrating.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Gallbladder Hormone Connection - What you need to know whether you have one or not | MMP Ep. 312
Q: Chelsea, what does the gallbladder actually do for us?
Chelsea explains that the gallbladder stores and concentrates bile produced by the liver, releasing a concentrated dose when fat enters the small intestine, which is essential for fat digestion and absorption of fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E, and K; without proper concentration and timing, fat digestion and hormone metabolism can be impaired.
ADHD, Hormones & Perimenopause: What Every Woman Needs to Know with Dr. Jolene Brighton | MMP Ep. 309
Q: How do medications like GLP-1s fit into the picture, and what should listeners know about balancing weight management with ADHD and perimenopause?
GLP-1s can help with visceral adiposity and inflammation but require monitoring to preserve lean muscle and metabolic health; combine with strength training, adequate protein, and collaboration with healthcare providers to tailor treatment and avoid adverse effects.
ADHD, Hormones & Perimenopause: What Every Woman Needs to Know with Dr. Jolene Brighton | MMP Ep. 309
Q: What practical steps can women take to manage this overlap day-to-day, especially when stress and caregiving demand so much?
Start with a brain dump to identify responsibilities you must own, delegate the rest, and regulate the nervous system early in the day through breathing, vagus nerve activation, and consistent sleep/wake routines; factor in nutrition and exercise to sustain focus and mood.
ADHD, Hormones & Perimenopause: What Every Woman Needs to Know with Dr. Jolene Brighton | MMP Ep. 309
Q: And so Jolene, could you talk about how you came to connect ADHD with hormonal changes in perimenopause and what that means for treatment?
The connection came from long-term observations in PCOS/PMDD and how ADHD symptoms map onto hormonal cycles, with perimenopause amplifying neurotransmitter and immune changes. Treatments must be multifaceted, including lifestyle, gut health, and carefully tailored hormone therapy rather than a one-size-fits-all pill.
10 Ways to Improve Lymph Flow for Easier Fat Loss And More Energy | MMP Ep. 233
Q: How can we support lymph flow?
We can support lymph flow through strategies like movement, deep breathing, hydration, and specific dietary choices.
