In this podcast questions came in from a Canadian listener.

In your podcast today it was indicated by the Canadian listener that Dutch Testing is not available in Canada. I live in Canada and I have had Dutch test done through my Naturopath Clinic and know that it is readily available in Canada.

Another listener mentions that she cannot get a practitioner that can or will prescribe testosterone for her. Well again, I have been using compounded... more

  • Essential Oils as a biohack

Dr Zielinski is very passionate and pragmatic about essential oils and the usage. I learned a lot about the sense of smell and the importance of essential oils in our everyday lives. Melanie asked great probing questions and shared her personal experience as well!

Q: How should mothers balance self-care with parenting, and is it okay to invest in help like meal prep or childcare to preserve identity?
Regular, small self-care practices (like a five-minute yoga session or a walk) are essential; protecting time for yourself prevents burnout and helps you show up better for others, and outsourcing tasks like cooking can be a worthwhile investment in long-term health and family well-being.

Q: Where do you fall on how people should know what they should actually be eating, especially with all the debates about processed foods?
Focus on whole foods, minimal processing, and clarity about what 'processed' means; if you assemble ingredients at home, you're still eating whole foods, and variety in flavor and texture helps kids and adults alike stay engaged with healthy eating.

Q: How does data privacy in Clue compare to other apps and why is it important?
Clue's Berlin base allows it to operate under EU GDPR standards, which are stricter than many US practices, and the app pays attention to de-identified data usage for research, avoiding data selling. This approach is highlighted as a major differentiator.

Q: Who should start tracking their cycle and how early?
Dr. Chambers explains that everyone with a functioning ovary should track their cycle from when they begin bleeding, as data helps describe irregularities, optimize daily life, and advocate for health, with tracking becoming useful for men and women across life stages including planning pregnancies or avoiding them.
