Douglas really gets to know the material (the books) and the authors themselves and it shows in his interviews. His interviews are fresh, fun, and full of useful information. It’s nice that he reads short snippets of the books so that you can get a sense of the source material, but then he asks great follow up questions about that material, so that the author can go deeper, which is where things usually get really interesting. Highly recommend.
