I remember liking this podcast a lot, but I just came back to it and was disappointed by how out of touch it felt. The episodes seem to barely cover any marketing strategies, and when they do, I can’t help but saying “I don’t think that’s actually how it works…”
It feels like they’re just churning out content for the ad revenue at this point, and there’s not much value actually being offered.
I like this podcast but the hosts’ mic volumes are way too low. The Shopify cha-ching almost took me out because I’m having to turn my headphones up to almost 100% volume to hear what they are saying. PLEASE FIX
The content is not bad, but their audio is atrocious. I use headphones and I have to turn up the volume as their audio is bad quality. Then, their commercial ads are very loud and jarring. You have a good chance to become deaf after listening to this podcast.
Every episode has become “We’re not racist/homophobic BUT (proceeds to say something racist/homophobic)”
Edit to add - the Shopify ‘cha-Ching’ is SO loud compared to the rest of the audio, it’s ear piercing in my car. Can yall lower it or remove it? Love you guys!
I learn more from snippets from their podcast than I do anywhere else. I love their chemistry as hosts and even the tangents from the topic because it’s ALL relevant and helpful. Thank you guys for this podcast!!!
