  • Gross online behavior

Liked Sean until I saw him liking a post implying that women who get raped by trans women, then are forced in court to call them by their pronouns, and women who don’t want to undress in front of them, deserve the consequences. Finding out he thinks state sanctioned sexual assault is acceptable is really disturbing and disgusting.

Hearing your deep soul livening breaths during these chats… is the hottest thing ever. Crushing on your voice and messages. Every time you do the deep breath… it’s like you hug all the butterflies that live in my stomach lol anyways… constantly listening to your message every day! You’ve helped me learn so much about myself and pushed my mind into such a healthy place! Thank you!

  • Encouraged Me to Open Up to Love ❤️

I discovered this podcast through the “Pep Talk:Open Up To Love” episode. I found it relatively soon after a year-long relationship with someone. I was tired of dating the same emotionally unavailable people and listened to this podcast as part of my work to determine my attachment style. This podcast has shown me that opening up more and being honest regarding my needs early on in a relationship is not only okay, but encouraged. I have established healthy boundaries and I am no longer afraid to... more

  • Often just what I need to hear

As I’ve been working on myself, my relationships have been shifting and it’s been really helpful to listen to this podcast - Shaun’s perspective helps to ground me in what I do already know on some level to be true, but it’s like having one of your most grounded, trusted friends remind you what you need to hear in shakey moments, even if makes you squirm a little. I also love the moments when he tears up at sweet things - love having more examples of gentle, sensitive, confident, direct men in t... more

My dirty little secret
Q: Is it okay to introduce yourself to multiple people at the gym or should you limit it to one to avoid seeming desperate?
It's normal to seek connection; start with one person at a time, be authentic, and gauge mutual interest without over-pressuring yourself or anyone else. Keep it light, respectful, and fun, and focus on building comfort rather than chasing a specific outcome.
My dirty little secret
Q: I'm 54, three kids, no longer with the father, and I've never had great sex. I don't know what I want and I'm scared to ask for exploration. Any advice?
Figure out what you want by using a yes/no/maybe framework, start with curiosity, and gradually discuss boundaries and desires with a partner. If you feel unsure, begin with self-reflection, journaling, and possibly trying beginner exercises to identify what feels exciting without pressuring yourself.
When shit hits the fan
Q: How do you maintain hope and keep dating during a pandemic when nothing seems to be happening?
Shaun reframes the goal from a dramatic overhaul to small, sustainable progress toward specific personal changes, like improving self-care and confidence, while accepting that periods of uncertainty are normal and part of the process.
When shit hits the fan
Q: Hi Shaun, how do you forgive yourself or move past a breakup when you still wonder if you let a once-in-a-lifetime love go?
Shaun suggests recognizing that you often don't know how life would have unfolded; grieve the life you imagined rather than blaming yourself, acknowledge that healing is ongoing, and avoid comparing your insides to someone else's outsides. Focus on personal growth and being kind to yourself as you continue dating and building a new path.
Good sex is reciprocal with Dan Savage
Q: Why do we judge straight men who have explored sexually with other men?
Savage argues that straightness is policed in harmful ways, and that many men explore sexuality without abandoning their identity, and that openness and curiosity should be normalized rather than shamed.
