  • Such good information!

I am a therapist and find Dr. Hensley’s work to be so helpful in deepening my own knowledge and understanding on attachment issues. Her workshops, podcast, and the plethora of information she puts out is so incredibly helpful. I appreciate your work so much 🫶🏼

  • Great Content when they stick to the point

The content is great and really helps me to understand myself and my partner but they get off topic so much talking about their kids, or thoughts about random things that I feel like need to be a conversation between them two when they go for coffee and not for the podcast. If they stuck to the point for 90% of the time, then it would 5 stars.

  • Confused and Lonely in marriage.

I am the emotionally underdeveloped partner in my marriage. My partner is trying to explain the attachment styles to me, but I don’t know why him teaching it makes it so much harder to hear and take to heart. I’m new to your podcast, but I’ve watched several of your reels on social media. I’m thankful you guys are here, and hope that by listening to y’all I will grow into the emotionally mature wife I need to be.

  • Hope…

My wife is a dismissive avoidant. For over a decade I have been confused to the point of questioning my sanity why I can’t get her on board with our marriage. For the first time I feel like there is actual hope of avoiding an inevitable divorce because of the roadmap this podcast has given me.

I’ve listened to others that cover attachment styles. This one by far has provided the most accurate explanation of my experience, and seems to have the best grasp of what the impact is on a human level... more

  • Incredibly Helpful

I found this podcast through TikTok and it’s like Dr Sarah was reading my journal out loud! As a DA woman I could never explain to my spouse what was going on with me. Thank you so much for the insight. Even with just the free content, it has meant the world to us and our relationship.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 42, Season 2: Beyond the Alpha Mindset: The Psychology of Self-Awareness and Success with Dave Rossi
Q: What role does identity play in your journey from collapse to rebuilding a successful business and life?
Identity acts as a lens through which we interpret experiences. By reframing failures as data and choosing to identify as someone who learns and improves, you sustain momentum, reduce fear-based choices, and create a resilient path forward in both work and relationships.
Episode 42, Season 2: Beyond the Alpha Mindset: The Psychology of Self-Awareness and Success with Dave Rossi
Q: Dave, can you share the core idea behind the Imperative Habit and how it translates into everyday leadership?
The Imperative Habit is a set of seven conscious practices that help people pause, regulate their nervous system, and process emotions before acting. It emphasizes not fearing outcomes, accepting reality, acting with love and compassion, practicing presence, and challenging limiting beliefs—so leaders can make deliberate, values-based decisions rather than reactive ones.
Episode 35, Season 2: Balancing Career and Family for Working Moms w/ guest Rebecca Olson
Q: What are the top three things you would talk to working moms about in your coaching?
1. Defining success. 2. Clarity over what balance means to you. 3. Building an inner cheerleader to cultivate a supportive narrative for your goals.
Episode 27, Season 2: Your Questions Answered from The Love Doc Facebook Clients & Community
Q: How do you handle the fear of repeating old patterns when things are actually going well?
It's embedded into your nervous system to brace for future hurt, so until you fix your nervous system, this is just how it's going to be. You have to learn to create a nervous system through emotional processing completion.
Episode 27, Season 2: Your Questions Answered from The Love Doc Facebook Clients & Community
Q: Is it normal to feel numb during healing? Because I feel numb. I don't know if something's wrong with me, or is this just me being over it?
No, you're dissociated. You're in a freeze response. It's not normal to feel numb; it indicates that you haven't been able to process the grief of the relationship you're experiencing.
