  • Great Content when they stick to the point

The content is great and really helps me to understand myself and my partner but they get off topic so much talking about their kids, or thoughts about random things that I feel like need to be a conversation between them two when they go for coffee and not for the podcast. If they stuck to the point for 90% of the time, then it would 5 stars.

  • Confused and Lonely in marriage.

I am the emotionally underdeveloped partner in my marriage. My partner is trying to explain the attachment styles to me, but I don’t know why him teaching it makes it so much harder to hear and take to heart. I’m new to your podcast, but I’ve watched several of your reels on social media. I’m thankful you guys are here, and hope that by listening to y’all I will grow into the emotionally mature wife I need to be.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 50, Season 2: Q&A From The Love Doc Clients and Community Facebook Group
Q: My ex and I broke up and have been in a hookup situation; I want to do a 21-day no-contact challenge but fear slipping back. Any guidance?
The no-contact window is necessary but not sufficient on its own; aim for a much longer period (90 days or more) to reset the nervous system and break intermittent reinforcement. Engage in somatic processing, therapy, and structured guidance from the breakup program to relearn healthy patterns and rebuild self-worth.
Episode 50, Season 2: Q&A From The Love Doc Clients and Community Facebook Group
Q: How do I cope with 50% custody as a stay-at-home mom with young children when my husband's work schedule is chaotic and he's showing high-conflict behaviors?
Prioritize safety and stability for the children, pursue parallel parenting rather than traditional co-parenting, and use legal avenues like first rights where available. Keep expectations realistic and document evidence of scheduling and behavior to support your custody decisions, while building a support system and ensuring the children's therapy and well-being.
Episode 50, Season 2: Q&A From The Love Doc Clients and Community Facebook Group
Q: I've been told my ex is leaving the woman he got in a relationship with shortly after our breakup and that he's considering reaching out to me. How do I handle this inner conflict?
Stay in no contact and keep doing your personal work. If he's already vying for contact or appears to be testing new connections, that's a sign nothing has changed, and there's no reason to reopen the relationship. Focus on your healing, boundaries, and consistent self-care while you continue to detach and build your life apart from him.
Episode 42, Season 2: Beyond the Alpha Mindset: The Psychology of Self-Awareness and Success with Dave Rossi
Q: What role does identity play in your journey from collapse to rebuilding a successful business and life?
Identity acts as a lens through which we interpret experiences. By reframing failures as data and choosing to identify as someone who learns and improves, you sustain momentum, reduce fear-based choices, and create a resilient path forward in both work and relationships.
Episode 42, Season 2: Beyond the Alpha Mindset: The Psychology of Self-Awareness and Success with Dave Rossi
Q: Dave, can you share the core idea behind the Imperative Habit and how it translates into everyday leadership?
The Imperative Habit is a set of seven conscious practices that help people pause, regulate their nervous system, and process emotions before acting. It emphasizes not fearing outcomes, accepting reality, acting with love and compassion, practicing presence, and challenging limiting beliefs—so leaders can make deliberate, values-based decisions rather than reactive ones.
