Reading through these reviews, I can’t help but wonder if those who rated poorly actually listened to ANY of the podcasts. Or if they just listened to what they wanted to hear, cherry-picking pieces to paint broad brush-strokes. The amount of distortion of Dr. Eggerichs’ message is alarming in these poor reviews. Absolute sexist garbage. Women aren’t allow to voice an opinion without being “disrespectful”. This crap perpetuates a cycle of abuse and male dominance. Listen to this guy talk long enough and it is extremely evident that he thinks women are less than men. His advises women to have as much sex as their abusive husbands demand, don’t complain about anything ever, and be a slave to their husbands. This is not biblical. It’s absolutely disgusting. 8 years later I am listening and applying everything I can. One year in to really working on my marriage. This podcast has been invaluable in my survival both emotionally and spiritually. I am slowly gaining ground as she is seeing my dedication to our relationship and I believe in another year we will be on a path that is more together than ever before. Thank you Dr. Eggerich for these episodes. I have much to be sorry for and much to be thankful for. I am putting in the work.
