Just surf as much as you can and get a big board.

Q: Is falling and skipping down the face of a big wave the worst case scenario?

Yes, it's frightening and it's like skipping on concrete before hitting the lip.

Q: What's the best wave you have surfed and why?

Mullock Moor in Ireland is the best wave because it's cold, remote, barrels, and I've had my worst and best moments there.

Q: With the absence of the mid-season cut, how do you think the surfers from 10 to 22 will fare?

The absence of the mid-season cut means that surfers will need to perform consistently and be ready for tough competition, especially as they will face top-tier surfers right from the start.

Q: What if Griff had got the score if he comes out of that barrel?

Griffin probably wouldn't have gotten the score, and even if he did, I still believe Yago would win the overall title.
