It’s informative and entertaining without letting the entertaining part take too much out of the teaching, it’s a really dope podcast

In these episodes, Alec makes the world of Frederick II accessible to a popular audience, in a way that has never been done before. For many, reading scholarly books and articles on the eighteenth-century is a bridge too far, but listening to podcasts like this one help the past come to life. Alec includes both chronological narrative episodes, thematic analysis, as well as interviews with academic and public historians. A great way to learn about German Central Europe in the eighteenth century!... more
