  • Started off interesting – – –

Started off interesting came across the podcast via YouTube talk! That was very good and some of the previous interviews were promising. However, I’ve just listened to the interview with Brian Wheaton. What a horrible horrible interview! He just sounds like a typical horrible rich techie who thinks he knows it all. Tom must’ve known this before he aired it! Move along.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

At the Leading Edge of a New Worldview: an electrifying conversation with Tim Freke
Q: You described consciousness as emergent and not confined to the body. How does that idea fit with what we know from technology and AI?
Tim argues that consciousness arises from information processing at various levels, not as a single thing inside the body; the mind reads information and uses processing to construct conscious experience, with a distinction between physical sensing and imaginal (psyche) experiences.
At the Leading Edge of a New Worldview: an electrifying conversation with Tim Freke
Q: So, Tim, let's get straight into it. Tell me about this new world view and what you've been up to for the last 10 years.
Tim explains that reality is a process of becoming where each moment emerges from the last but is fresh, and where evolution is an emergent unfolding of possibilities that can bridge physics, biology, and spirituality.
LSD and the Edge of Human Experience: Dr. Chris Bache on his Twenty Year Exploration of the Unknown.
Q: Can you discuss past lives and reincarnation as they relate to this work and their relevance to the broader human story?
Past-life work via hypnosis revealed multiple lives; reincarnation is framed as a mechanism by which souls accumulate experiences, learn, and contribute to a larger evolutionary process of humanity.
LSD and the Edge of Human Experience: Dr. Chris Bache on his Twenty Year Exploration of the Unknown.
Q: How do you prepare for and integrate psychedelic experiences, both personally and for clients?
Preparation involves diet, physical health, meditation, breath work, and practicing observation without attachment; integration includes discerning messages from inner or collective sources and applying them to daily life.
LSD and the Edge of Human Experience: Dr. Chris Bache on his Twenty Year Exploration of the Unknown.
Q: Why did you decide to pursue this modality and what did you experience in your sessions?
Bache describes studying Grof's protocol, committing to high-dose sessions for years, and acknowledging that if done again he would proceed more gently, integrating personal material first and then moving to broader, more varied experiences.
