Love the show and have been listening for years. I agree with your take that we have no idea if the Commanders will be good or bad and most of the season depends on the play of 5. The annoying thing about Tommy is the fans want optimism in August and not a lecture on an ‘Aura of Collapse’ driven by JD5’s college number. This fanbase is starved for a winner and doesn’t want to hear doom. There will be plenty of time for that as the season progresses. Keep up the good work!
I’ve grown up in the DMV and the Skins for all 62 years of my life. Being a sports fan for most of my life, sports personalities have been very important for me. Ken Beatrice, Kiley and Coach, Galdi et all, none get me as much as Kevin! His personality, explanation and humor are second to none. Thank you.
Kevin… watching Cat Stevens induction to RRHOF held in 2014. Was that Scott Van Pelt in the audience behind Steven Spielberg?
Hey Kevin, been listening for years and never called your show or left a review but the Dabantsa comp discussion is interesting and I think I have a reasonable suggestion.
Rashard Lewis has identical height and frame (at least on TV anyway) and similar style of play.
Debantsa has better athleticism than Lewis and if AJ even comes close to Lewis’s scoring ability at the NBA level he will be an excellent player.
Kevin, I am curious. Who are your top five NBA players of all time? Recently an article came out that put Kobe at #11! I couldn’t believe it because I have him in at least my top 3. So what say you?
