  • Ben is excellent. My favorite media guy that covers the Commanders. He just reports actual facts. He doesn't sugar coat problems and He's not a delusional fan boy like Kevin Sheehan. All Sheehan does is lick Adam Peters scrotum and get a cactus up his rectum anytime anybody has even a minor criticism of Daniels. Ben Standig all day every day

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mailbag: What about Luke?
Q: Any interesting UDFA signings and what's up with the seventh-round quarterback?
The host discusses Chris Hilton Jr. as a noteworthy UDFA due to athleticism and LSU connections, but cautions that production and college stats don't guarantee a roster spot; on the Rutgers seventh-round quarterback, he indicates there's potential to stick or at least be developed, but nothing definitive yet.
Daniel Jeremiah has Commander thoughts
Q: Which players did Jeremiah indicate as potential fits for the Commanders at the seven or 16 slot?
He discussed players like Sonny Styles, Caleb Downs, and Jeremiah Love, as well as other defensive and offensive pieces that could address Washington's needs based on the board and medical evaluations, illustrating a balance between blue-chip talent and development potential.
Daniel Jeremiah has Commander thoughts
Q: What did Daniel Jeremiah say about the Commanders potentially trading down from seven?
Jeremiah laid out a scenario where the Commanders could trade seven to the Jets for multiple picks, allowing Washington to target higher ceiling players later while amassing draft capital, reflecting a strategic long-term gamble rather than a short-term fix.
NFL Draft insider Dane Brugler
Q: How do you assess Washington's seven pick and what are the realistic options if they stay at seven?
Brugler discusses which players could be available at seven, including Caleb Downs, Sonny Styles, Jeremiah Love, and Rueben Bain, and explains that the best approach is to take the best player available while considering how they fit the Brian Flores defense and potential ripple effects on the defense and offense.
Insider talks Brandon Aiyuk
Q: What's the main thrust of Barrows' take on Aiyuk from the story?
Barrows explains that the Aiyuk situation hinges on leverage between the 49ers and Washington, with potential trade scenarios involving late-round picks or a signed-trade, and that the teams are weighing whether Washington's interest and Aiyuk's desire to play with Jaden Daniels could drive a deal.
