  • Did Kev tap Russini too?

Not surprised that Commando Kev is too big of a coward to cover his friend Russini’s cheating scandal. Your silence is everything, Commando Kev. Did she at least let you hit it for some scoops? Is that why you had her on your show so much? You heard she was tapping McVay and thought you could get some of that access as well.

  • Not here for weather

I listen to sports talk to hear about sports. If I want to know the weather forecast I will check out the weather channel. Why does this guy subject his listeners to his fantasy of being weather man everyday?

  • Commando Kev joins the front office

This Terry situation has highlighted how utterly obsessed Kevin has become with the commando’s ownership group and their general manager. The condescension with which he speaks towards fans because they don’t see it Kevin and Josh Harris’ way is cringe worthy. He’s done a really good job selling ownership’s narrative and degrading Terry’s worth though. I’ve lost all respect for Kevin over this situation.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

HR2: Can the Thunder come back and make the Finals?; Bill Barnwell on how the Commanders can utilize 13 personnel
Q: Do you see similar potential adjustments for the Commanders, and what caveats should exist?
Barnwell cautions that while 13 personnel can be advantageous, it's not a universal fix and must be integrated with a broader offensive strategy and suitable players to avoid stagnation.
HR2: Can the Thunder come back and make the Finals?; Bill Barnwell on how the Commanders can utilize 13 personnel
Q: What were the big takeaways from sticking with 13 personnel through the postseason?
The approach allowed teams to reintroduce the third linebacker, create mismatches against defenses, and sustain explosive plays through two-tight end alignments, though it depended on having the right personnel and play design.
HR2: Can the Thunder come back and make the Finals?; Bill Barnwell on how the Commanders can utilize 13 personnel
Q: Share with my listeners the event or the game in which Sean decided this was the way to go.
Barnwell explains that the Rams moved to 13 personnel after Pooka Nakua's injury in October, which forced a shift away from a heavier wide receiver lineup to more tight ends, ultimately changing the offensive identity for the rest of the season.
Joe House weighs in on the Diggs vs Aiyuk debate and gives his NBA Playoffs analysis
Q: What's your take on Jokic's legacy after the recent playoff stretch, and does his team's performance alter that assessment?
The hosts acknowledge Jokic's historic impact and elite offense but concede that his defensive limitations and the team's playoff vulnerability in the absence of key players, like Aaron Gordon, have tempered the legacy discussion and opened questions about how he would fare against all-time greats in a broader context.
Joe House weighs in on the Diggs vs Aiyuk debate and gives his NBA Playoffs analysis
Q: Which receiver do you prefer for Washington between Stefon Diggs and Brandon Aiyuk, and why?
Joe House expresses a preference for Aiyuk due to verticality and toughness, arguing that when aligned with the quarterback and the coaching system, Aiyuk could quickly elevate Washington's offense and relieve pressure on Terry McLaurin.
