  • So good!

I’m really enjoying this podcast from Julia. From the research she has done, she has created a guest list full of interesting people. The format is great - whilst a long format it’s not three hour marathons, they’re just right. The guests are really interesting with some really thought provoking research/views. Obviously Julia is a great host and allows guests ample time to talk, asks thoughtful questions and of course brings her unique, infectious energy. If you’re interested in health and well... more

What Happens When Your Cancer Tests Don’t Give You Answers? | Mark Sean Taylor
Q: What did you do next after being told there's nothing we can do?
I pursued a broad, aggressive search for answers—from consulting multiple doctors worldwide, exploring vitamin C therapy, then moving into mind-body work and ultimately psychedelics and trauma therapy as ways to influence disease experience and patient well-being.
What Happens When Your Cancer Tests Don’t Give You Answers? | Mark Sean Taylor
Q: What was it like when you headed back into the room with the new test results saying this is what I've got?
There was chaos and urgency; I wanted active treatment, not monitoring, and I felt furious at the system for not offering more immediate options, which pushed me to push for alternatives and question the standard approach.
Brain Inflammation: The Warning Signs Most People Ignore | Dr Datis Kharrazian
Q: What can we do to protect our brains and reduce brain inflammation?
Adopt a comprehensive, personalized approach centered on regular movement, balanced meals with adequate protein, quality sleep, and minimizing environmental toxins; avoid drop-offs in eating that cause blood sugar spikes or crashes, and consider targeted nutraceuticals within individual context, rather than one-size-fits-all recommendations.
Brain Inflammation: The Warning Signs Most People Ignore | Dr Datis Kharrazian
Q: How do we measure our baseline brain inflammation, and is there a test?
There isn't a simple lab or imaging test for early, mild inflammation; early signs are clinical patterns like brain fog, slowed thinking, and reduced brain endurance, with imaging or white matter changes only appearing in more severe cases.
Brain Inflammation: The Warning Signs Most People Ignore | Dr Datis Kharrazian
Q: Datis, what is neuroinflammation and why should I be bothered about it?
Neuroinflammation is inflammation in the brain; it matters because everyone has some level, and higher levels accelerate brain aging and cognitive decline, affecting speed, endurance, and overall brain function.
