I like all forms of music, but I came to this with zero knowledge of opera. This show is great because they cover (mostly) contemporary artists but also talk about classics, production, the art form as a whole, and everything from music and lyrics to how to pull together your own small production. The hosts are funny and knowledgeable. A great listen.
This podcast is accessible for all levels of opera enthusiasts, from newbie to expert. The hosts are funny, charming, and super knowledgeable. I love how they intersperse snippets of music for added context. Give it a try!
I have been searching for an informative opera podcast for a long time. This podcast is interesting and entertaining. Listen if you want to be informed about present happenings in the opera world. Bravo!
