This show is definitely an all time great for me. The perspective they had on horror and the personality they brought was always so refreshing. The Horror Show just had such a punk rock attitude that made it clear they loved the genre and also loved making fun of it. I’ve listened since 2017 and I’m sad to see the show end but thanks for the great listening.
From the bottom of my cold, black heart, I wish you nothing but the best on your future endeavors, Shawn. Truly, THS is the podcast that humbled me as a reviewer. You and Joe showed me true humility, and for that I am grateful that I found this show. Sad to see the end, but thankful for everything along the way. Whatever you choose next, it’ll be great, because you’re a great person Shawn. 👊🏻 Big ups to Joe.
I gave Hollyweird 1 star, but The Horror Show is a 5 star show. Lexi is insufferable and before anyone comes with the “it’s just misogyny” I’m a woman and I can’t stand her. Joe and Sean were effortlessly funny together , but with Lexi…it feels so forced and cringe. I’ll stick to the old Horror Show eps and leave Hollyweird for those who like torture
I used to love the show when it was Sean and Joe, I loved the b movies they would knock on and review. Now they only review modern trash, and there is the insufferable cohost Lexi. I just can’t put my ears through the torture anymore, I can’t do it.
Lexi sucks. I can’t stand her voice. I’ve gone back to listen to the older episodes and it still one of my favorite podcasts ever. But this hollyweird thing with Lexi is awful. I’m sorry but I’m not a fan. I’ve tried.
