I have lived in Canada my whole life and have no true understanding of what life is like for immigrants or their journey and steps they will take to have a better life. I am sad that the podcast has ended but so happy that you have the life you had fought so hard far and have a beautiful family as well. Such a wonderful story. Great to learn of an individuals story from a time I remember! I was 9 in 1978 and my mum gave me a stamp for my collection of the Shah of Iran on an Iranian stamp, and she said keep this it will be worth something one day as he is the last shah. I’m in Western Australia. I still have the stamp. Thank you for sharing your story.
