A stunning in-depth history of China. The host also has a great sense of humour that lightens up the episodes. Particularly recommend his episodes on the Mongols.
The region listed for Yi people are southwest, not southeast.
I can’t believe I am caught up! This has been an amazing, exhaustive, illuminating and very compelling journey. Thank you sir. What good work you have done.
Basically, he reads textbooks for you. It’s not at the same level as history of Roma or history of Byzantium, ngl. Barely quoted any historians.
This was such a wonderful podcast! Unlike some where it’s kind of a drab and struggle to endure. The narrator definitely makes it very enjoyable to follow along and adds a little bit of spice to the details. Highly entertaining and highly enjoyable. Get your popcorn ready this podcast is absolutely informative and entertaining. Great job and thank you so much. Can’t wait to listen to more.🤩👏
