Like a hang with the friends. Always an enjoyable listen with Dave and Ben. They cover the universe in here and occasionally bring you exposure to local gems to support and explore. Also a great set of soundtracks. Final comment, very well produced. Highly recommended.
Rediscovered the podcast after being away for awhile. Sorry I didn’t keep up cause now I look forward to it every week. The random topics and the guy’s perspectives are insightful, interesting and a great commentary on the absurdity of things. And the podcast turned me on to punk music I never listened to that I’m digging right now.
This is a show ran by 2 tough guys who talk about all the same problems we all deal with in life. If nothing else take comfort in knowing you’re not alone in how you’re wife treats you.
Great show - no politics but a good combination of everything else. Ben & Daves commentary on what’s happening in the world and their lives are always welcoming and always entertaining. Try this one out and you’ll be an instant fan.
Great local podcast I’ve listened to and look forward to every week, for years. I will date myself here, but Ben and Dave have a rapport that reminds me of Chicago radio greats Steve Dahl & Garry Meier. Hey My Man pc is a good, no..great podcast that I listen to, vs just having play in the background while I drink my coffee and look at the interweb. Go listen.

The show blends candid daily-life banter with sharp humor and lightweight cultural commentary, often anchored in Midwest perspectives. Episodes oscillate between personal stories, pop culture riffs, and observational humor about everyday life, relationships, and social norms. A standout is the duo's easy-going dynamic, willingness to riff on anything from fashion and parking habits to family anecdotes and local music scenes, making it feel like a long drive with friends. Listeners likely appreciate the casual, unfiltered vibe, music taste, and the hosts' camaraderie as well as the sense that topics range from relatable to surprisingly niche pop-culture moments.
