  • Great blades in the dark! Much more in line with traditional campaign than the vigilantes of Magpies. While I love good guys & rebels, sometimes you really just want some clever gangsters doing cool heists. Great storytelling and role-playing makes this podcast a terrific example of what makes Blades so cool.

  • Great and professional

Other reviewers have already done well to point out the excellence of the storytelling, acting, etc., so I’d just like to draw attention to the more subtle quality of this podcast.

I’m just starting episode 8 now, and so far the production quality has been fantastic. Neither the DM nor the players have any annoying speech habits (such as constantly saying “like” or “um”), and that is a rare thing that goes a long way. The podcast is exceptionally easy to listen to.

  • I’d TOTALLY like it, if this was my thing...

This podcast seems really fun and engaging—If I was into role playing games, I’d have this at the top of my list. It’s accessible to newcomers that want to get involved/learn/begin their RPG journey. It’s also totally enjoyable if RPG are already your thing.

Especially during these COVID times, listening to people engaging and enjoying each other and just being with each other (even when they aren’t in the same room) makes this podcast sort of a comfort.

That said, it’s not my thing. I’m not ... more
