  • Snooze fest

The concept was promising, but the execution was painfully redundant. The endless variations of “the story lives on” made it feel more like a spoken-word loop than a narrative. There were glimpses of the Flying Dutchman’s legend, but they were buried under repetitive platitudes. I put this on to listen to an engaging story, but instead almost fell asleep .

  • Awesome podcast, very knowledgeable host

Love this podcast! The episodes about old advertising and the episodes dedicated to Halloween specials of 90s TV shows evoked many feelings of nostalgia. Loved those, the spooky stories, the series on “Haunted America” and the newest “The Dark Record” series. Lyle does an impeccable job with research and really draws the listener in. This is my favorite pod to listen to…year round!

  • Enjoyable stories

Seems like AI voice, which I imagine allows volume of releases. Yet, stories are compelling and seem to cover all angles of a given mystery. I totally enjoy this Pod
