This is the best Halloween podcast I’ve listened to. I enjoy the content very much.
Hey Lyle. Always enjoy your shows. Keep up the great work!! Steve Stelton. Louisville, KY.
The concept was promising, but the execution was painfully redundant. The endless variations of “the story lives on” made it feel more like a spoken-word loop than a narrative. There were glimpses of the Flying Dutchman’s legend, but they were buried under repetitive platitudes. I put this on to listen to an engaging story, but instead almost fell asleep .
It is the best!!!
Such a great listen — any time of year!

The show centers on Halloween, ghost stories, folklore, and haunted locations, blending historical context with eerie narratives and occasional guest interviews. Episodes cover a wide range of spooky topics—from haunted houses and regional legends to seasonal countdowns and holiday-themed specials—anchored by thorough research and a warm, conversational hosting style.
