Of all the podcasts I listen to, Golden Era is the only one that I will consistently listen to (and re-listen to) on a regular basis. I never need to take a break from it because I love Jake and Joey’s personalities so much. They bounce off each other so well, and I just adore their dynamic. Love their enthusiasm but the one host laughs at every sentence he says and then also laughs at every sentence the co host says so it’s an hour of forced laughter which gets exhausting after ten minutes. Love the banter when the fake laughter isn’t there and love hearing about the golden age.

Jake and Joey take you on a wild nostalgia trip as they review the “golden era” of women’s wrestling. Starting in 2001 they look at the women that shaped that time period and it’s so fun to relive these memories as an adult. To top it all off there is Jake singing renditionsof woman’s entrance music and a lot of gay pop culture sprinkled in. If you watched wrestling from 2001-onward you have to give this podcast a go. P.S. long live heel Torrie from 2002!
