I love Willam and Alaska and love to hear what they think/say, but I’ve noticed a shift in mood these past handful of episodes and it dips into very unpleasant territory. I’m not trying to be mean or anything but the momentum will completely stop because Willam has a take that’s not very charitable, Alaska tries to add nuance to help explain, Willam doubles down, the entire room gets silent for a few seconds, and then they all move on like it never happened. It just makes listening uncomfortable... more
What once was a fun podcast with actual opinions on episodes has declined into a weekly reading off information from a recap sheet Dipper has prepared without actual opinions given. That I could be okay with. But Alaska’s loss of interest/fun and Willams weird, increasing bitterness has taken away the enjoyment.
