  • Loved it

This series is well made and I found to be very thought provoking. The battle between the journalists and the unreliability of sheedy’s story offers another level of entertainment within the series. The exploration of sheedy’s character, constant lying and manipulation helps me to understand the impact a severe gambling addiction can have on a person.

My day at a boring farm job went a lot quicker thanks to this story.

  • Loved it

I loved this. Gambling addiction has so many parallels with drug addiction. Some people will lose their moral compass and steal from friends or family. Some people won’t cross that line, preferring to be sick than lose all respect for themselves. How the brain develops is complicated.

  • Interesting Listen to Gambling

I’ve never taken the time to understand gambling addicts. I have addicts of other kinds in my life. So it was good to listen and realise how their minds also work. Felt it was very well presented. I googled afterwards and never expected the gambler to look how he did. That proves it can happen to anyone.
