Q&A: Did we fan the flames of the ‘far-right’?
Q: Has there been any guidance or reaction from government representatives about your reporting?
We are subject to standard media oversight; people can go to the press council or sue, which is part of democracy, but we continue to report based on public interest and verification.
Q&A: Is knife crime rising, was there a Kinahan Hutch peace deal?
Q: Could your podcast ever be used as evidence in court, and how do you handle sourcing when authorities request information?
Yes, in principle; courts can use interviews if they are part of a public record or evidence. Journalists protect sources but may hand over recordings with warrants, while never disclosing confidential sources unless legally compelled.
