  • Bring back the old format

I used to love this podcast but it just not as good as it used to be. Guests like Spencer Matthew’s just don’t make sense here. Also the constant plugging and snippets of the paid content has become really irritating for long time listeners.

Influencer Chloe Koyce gets 'justice' as Dublin man convicted of stalking
Q: How does this case illustrate the practical impact of Ireland's new anti-stalking legislation?
It shows how the law can be applied to a high-profile following incident, leading to a guilty plea and a suspended sentence, and it confirms that stalking is now treated as its own crime with related implications for victim anonymity and reporting.
Christy Kinahan's pal caught with magic mushrooms says he's done with gangland
Q: Tell us a little theory again.
The discussion referenced criminologists' study showing high-risk offenders peak in their late twenties, then gradually burnout, which helps explain the lifecycle of violent criminals and possible future patterns in their behavior.
Stephen McCullagh Trial: Former partner of murder accused gives evidence in Belfast Crown Court (Part 2)
Q: Can you walk me through what she was saying about that assault?
The witness described a pattern of an on-off relationship, including an incident in December 2019 where she said she was assaulted, followed by a police statement and later a second statement withdrawing the first, in part due to a desire to reconcile and avoid sending McCullagh to prison.
Spencer Matthews: Why I am obsessed with true crime (Part 1)
Q: What fascinates you about crime?
The guest says criminals are interesting people who live on the edge, the thrill of the plan, and the detail involved in organizing crimes, which makes the stories compelling to study rather than simply sensational.
