Never had a problem with any presentation before I listened to the one about Ana Kriegel. I haven’t heard either of the presenters before but I didn’t like the way it was portrayed there was no sensitivity at all ,they talked over each other all the time and no one needs to hear details like they discussed. They laughed at being unpopular with your teenager. No one gained from this horrific crime and it should have been given more sensitivity.

  • Too many ads

This used to be my favourite podcast but it’s not the same anymore. The ads at the beginning go on for too long and now there are ads in the middle as well. The add-on extract at the end is annoying too.

  • Too many ads

Used to enjoy this podcast, but it has become unlistenable. Selling ads in every available way & place, forced in the middle, massive section of selling the new paid content. Unlistenable.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Limerick feud 20 years on - where are the gangs now?
Q: What has changed about the dynamics of these gangs since the crackdown years ago?
The conversation suggests that while individuals and high-profile figures have been arrested and sentenced, the core networks and money flows persist, with new generations continuing to operate in similar ways and maintaining connections locally and internationally.
Why double killer Frank McCann should stay behind bars
Q: Why is it so important for you personally that McCann remains incarcerated?
Because the murder of a mother and child represents an irreparable harm that, in my view, warrants life without parole as a safeguard for other families and to honor Esther and Jessica.
Why double killer Frank McCann should stay behind bars
Q: Can you walk us through how the parole board process has changed since your first appearance?
The process has become more formal and iterative, with submissions, personal testimonies, and direct input from victims or their representatives before a larger panel, making each hearing both procedural and emotionally exhausting.
How is the State preparing for Daniel Kinahan's return to Ireland?
Q: What are the plans for Daniel Kinahan's housing and security once he returns to Ireland?
The guest explains that Kinahan would likely be held in a highly controlled environment, initially isolated and reviewed through a detailed intake process to map out potential contact with rivals, with ongoing security considerations including possible army involvement if risk demands it.
Sligo property tycoon jailed for savagely beating three innocent teenagers
Q: What was the outcome in court, and what were the key factors in the judge's decision?
O'Connor pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years in prison, with the judge noting the gravity of the crime and the need to deter future violence; the ruling also required payment of compensation to the victims and anger management post-release, with CCTV evidence undermining the defendant's narrative.
