This used to be my favourite podcast but it’s not the same anymore. The ads at the beginning go on for too long and now there are ads in the middle as well. The add-on extract at the end is annoying too.
What have you done to my favourite podcast the ads go on for ages it’s very disappointing. The subscription is very high too I have to miss a lot of content now it’s just out of my league now 😔
Used to enjoy this podcast, but it has become unlistenable. Selling ads in every available way & place, forced in the middle, massive section of selling the new paid content. Unlistenable.
In the latest Podcast about Ms Faulkner’s attack the Podcast length is given as 15mins of which the 1st 2mins 35sec are adds then another 30sec add in the middle followed by 10min 30sec add for their subscription service at the end. So so poor from what this podcast originally was!
Up to a third of the podcast duration now given over to sales pitch (repeated excerpts of content available to subscribers)- putting me off subscribing! Good luck with new format x

This show consistently covers high-profile crime cases in Ireland and beyond, blending on-the-ground reporting, courtroom updates, and deep dives into gang dynamics, scams, and major investigations. Episodes feature investigative journalists, live updates from courts, and expert context that helps listeners understand complex criminal networks, media coverage, and law enforcement challenges. A few distinctive strengths include long-form case analyses, access to prominent Irish crime reporters, and discussions that connect local stories to broader crime ecosystems. The format tends to attract listeners who want thorough, sourced reporting and a blunt, no-nonsense take on criminal underworld stories and justice processes.
