  • As this podcast is provided by two news organizations, I would have hoped to see more balanced discussions from the hosts and guests. Alas, that is not the case. The terminology used is very biased, calling abortion "reproductive rights" (I'm sure they would object to using the term "pre-born baby killing as biased"), using ultra-conservative (and not the opposite ultra-progressive - which the hosts and guests seem to be) and many other examples of biased terminology. Please provide more balance... more

Ignore the whack jobs with their crazy conspiracy ax grinding (blame it on the Arizona sun—summers here drive everyone a little crazy!) Why Andy Biggs wants to be Arizona's next Governor
Q: You've held a safe Republican seat in Congress for the past 10 years, and you've had the president's ear for much of that time. Why are you running for governor?
Biggs argues Congress is broken, wants to return to Arizona to influence state policy, and believes a leadership change is needed to challenge the direction of current governance, including tax policy, housing, and education funding.
Democrats want Maricopa County. Here's their challenge.
Q: What is the most persuasive message Democrats can use this fall?
Emphasize everyday cost concerns like gasoline and groceries, defend democracy, and highlight proposed improvements in health care and voting accessibility.
Democrats want Maricopa County. Here's their challenge.
Q: What does that team look like? How much have you invested in this? And then how does the DNC's voter registration effort fit into that?
The Maricopa County party has built a core team of volunteers and a paid staffer who coordinates data-driven voter registration efforts, while the DNC is staffing up statewide and will coordinate with local partners as needed.
Why Trump is visiting Phoenix so early in the 2026 midterm cycle
Q: Why is President Donald Trump coming to Arizona right now?
The guest explains that it's a good moment in time, tied to energizing the conservative base in a pivotal year, and that the visit helps reinforce support across targeted GOP campaigns while signaling alignment with the broader Turning Point strategy.
Adrian Fontes wants you to know your mail-in ballot is safe
Q: How does Arizona's mail-in voting system compare to federal proposals, and what has the state done to safeguard it?
Fontes notes that Arizona has a long-standing, well-functioning mail-in voting framework developed since 1991, including robust barcoding and verification processes, and asserts that federal mandates would require unfunded funding that could hamstring local implementation.
