  • Helpful resource

As a therapist, it’s been super helpful to be able to refer my female clients to this FREE resource. There is SO much great information in these episodes for women looking to increase their understanding of how their physical body/symptoms impact their thoughts and feelings. You are a gift Erin! Thank you!

  • Fun, educational, easy listening

I don’t know what’s better, the education I receive or just all the good hormones/chemicals released while I laugh at Erin’s delivery and personality. It feels like getting health advice from a friend. It’s not condescending…she doesn’t throw around big terms that are hard to figure out. Her info is easily digestible, pun intended. 100% worth a listen.

  • Insightful and empowering

As someone who’s been on a long journey with fatigue, gut issues, and hormonal imbalances, this podcast has been a game changer. The host breaks down complex topics—like blood sugar balance, inflammation, and the gut-brain connection—in a way that’s both evidence-based and completely relatable. I appreciate the functional approach that gets to the root of the problem rather than just treating symptoms.

Each episode is packed with practical takeaways you can actually use, whether it’s what to ea... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

LIVE Business Coaching Call: Pricing, Entrepreneurship & Building a Functional Medicine Practice | Ep 420
Q: Should newer practitioners use discovery calls or not?
The approach is nuanced: for some practitioners, discovery calls can provide market insight and help align expectations, but they should not feel like a sales pitch; you can still provide value and filter for a good fit.
Embody Your Magic: Human Design, Intuition & Self-Sourcing with Aycee Brown | Ep 416
Q: How do they find their magic?
Aycee explains that magic emerges from daily interactions, self-awareness, and honoring one's unique gifts. She emphasizes practicing small, consistent steps, reading, and using tools like astrology, human design, and numerology as supportive, not defining frameworks.
What Is Chronic Inflammation? Root Causes, Lab Markers & How to Lower It (+ Case Studies) | Ep 417
Q: What does the phrase inflammation hunting actually mean in practice?
It means identifying and addressing the underlying triggers of inflammation through lifestyle changes, gut health optimization, and targeted testing, rather than just chasing lab numbers or jumping straight to supplements.
GLP-1s Are Not Just About Weight Loss: Conversation with Jessica Brown | Ep 410
Q: What are GLP-1 medications and how do they work beyond weight loss?
GLP-1 meds are peptides that modulate sugar regulation and can act as immune modulators, with potential benefits in autoimmune and inflammatory conditions beyond just promoting weight loss.
From Symptom Obsession to Freedom in Your Body: A Manifest Your Health Case Study | Ep 404
Q: But can we actually hit the rewind button a little bit and tell us like your story, your journey of actually getting that diagnosis? What happened leading up to it?
Emily shares a long health arc starting with years of digestive issues and fatigue, moving through various practitioners, and finally a mold-related diagnosis (SIRS). The discussion emphasizes how the journey included misdiagnosis, trial-and-error care, and the eventual confirmation that allowed a shift toward a holistic, mind-body approach.
