  • Wonderful podcast!

I’ve never left a review before but your podcast deserves to be heard by as many people as possible so here I am!

Han is a warm and thoughtful host. Through her own experience and that of her guests, she’s able to present a broad and diverse range of experiences - some I relate to, some I didn’t know much about (for example the discussion of India culture in the Diwali episode) so it’s really great to have the opportunity to learn. Thanks for creating such an engaging, unique, mind-opening and a... more

Q: What role does social media play in recovery, and how should listeners manage their feeds to support a healthy mindset around food and exercise?
Social media can glorify restrictive or extreme body standards, so it's important to curate feeds by unfollowing harmful accounts, muting triggering content, and seeking diverse representations. Also, recognizing personal limits and using tools to filter content helps maintain a compassionate, realistic view of one's own journey.

Q: How did your relationship with disordered eating show up, and how did you navigate it while pursuing fitness and plant-based living?
It started in adolescence with body image concerns and fluctuated through school years, evolving as I found a healthier relationship with food and movement. By focusing on strength, energy, and alignment with my values rather than chasing a certain look, I could recover and continue training in a sustainable way.

Eating Disorders, Relationships and Finding Your Way Back to Each Other with Charlotte Jefferson
Q: How do eating disorders change the dynamics of a romantic relationship?
They shift roles into caregiving and monitoring, create secrecy and distance, and can erode intimacy unless addressed with open communication and third-party support.
