  • Wonderful podcast!

I’ve never left a review before but your podcast deserves to be heard by as many people as possible so here I am!

Han is a warm and thoughtful host. Through her own experience and that of her guests, she’s able to present a broad and diverse range of experiences - some I relate to, some I didn’t know much about (for example the discussion of India culture in the Diwali episode) so it’s really great to have the opportunity to learn. Thanks for creating such an engaging, unique, mind-opening and a... more

  • Worrying

I’ve listened to a few of these where the guest says they are recovered and are clearly not. The host also sadly seems very early I her recovery and I worry this podcast could normalise restriction and clear ED thinking and behaviours and say that is recovery .

“Just 1 or 2 People” #DyingForTreatment with Ailidh Musgrave
Q: In terms of your treatment that you had, to think a bit more about the Dying for Treatment campaign, why is that campaign something that's so close to your heart?
Because I was always labeled complex and had difficulty accessing treatment, which I've experienced personally and know that it leads to vulnerable positions for patients.
“Just 1 or 2 People” #DyingForTreatment with Ailidh Musgrave
Q: When you were in that position after not being able to find a hospital to take you, was there any part of you that wanted to recover, or was it all just, I don't want this anymore?
There was a bit of both; I just wanted anorexia, the illness, to end, but I knew it couldn't end if I wasn't getting the support that I needed.
Veganism, Pregnancy and the Pursuit of “Health”: The Reality Behind Orthorexia with Zoë Harwood
Q: Did you find when you had Rex, did you have the same worries about him getting ill that you had for yourself?
Yes, I felt it for everybody and was quite concerned about it.
The Importance of Shared Care for Type 1 Diabetes and Disordered Eating with Dr Tomos Williams
Q: Are there specific signs that people could look out for in diabetes services to identify possible disordered eating?
Look for patients who have high blood sugars despite support; they may need to be referred for further assessment regarding possible disordered eating.
The Importance of Shared Care for Type 1 Diabetes and Disordered Eating with Dr Tomos Williams
Q: What does joined up care look like for patients struggling with both diabetes and disordered eating?
