Thank you all for adding this as a podcast. I clean rental cabins and houses for a living. It’s just me and my little business so I’m cleaning for 6-10 hrs almost every day. I survive because of podcasts. Storytelling and True crime podcasts are interesting and great company to me. I just wanted to say ty!

  • Thank you for bringing these episodes to us.

I like the fact that the host repeals what someone away from the microphone, or a recording has said. If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t be able to take it all in. I’ve watched probably all episodes of Tulsa on The First 48 over several years. I’m grateful for the good clean hard investigating they do.

  • Boring

I usually love Crime House podcasts and Carter, but this one is boring and the audio of interviews is difficult to impossible to understand. Do better Crime House!

  • This is Not for TRUE “The First 48” fans

I was really excited to see the “new” The FIRST 48 podcast. However as soon as it started I knew exactly what old case they were playing. They have 2 shows posted so far and they both are old cases just reposted. If you are fans of this show, you will definitely know the shows within the first 48 seconds!!

I don’t mind an old case: if they throw it in here and there. Along with having someone close to the case doing a “director cut style” voice over. Be creative people come on.

    However someone... more

  • I’m hooked!

Great work Crime House. Really loving the format, hearing the fast paced work by law enforcement, shame they don’t seem to have time off to process the work. Just on to the next case.

  • Crime House

The First 48 is an interesting tv show, and I think it would have made a good podcast if it had been handled by anyone other than Crime house. Unfortunately for listeners, Crime House decided to follow the tired, draggy format of its other pods. It’s rather insulting for Carter to give us a rehash of what has taken place in the story after a 2 minute ad break. Just tell the story!

  • Honest Review

I have watched every episode on TV this show is great and well written. The investigators work so hard to solve each case. I can’t wait for the Podcast.

Is having an annoying narrator really necessary?

  • Love this show

I’ve been curious of what happens in the first few days of the police finding the crime and now there’s a show about it!!! Unfortunately the first episode has that E symbol meaning it’s inappropriate in some way so I can listen yet but still love it

  • Episodes in podcast form

This is a repackaging of previously aired episodes with added narration to make it into podcast form. The narration as written is clunky and the narrator doesn’t quite suit the show (it would have been a dream to get original F48 narrator Dion Graham).

If you’ve seen the show, the podcast doesn’t offer anything new. Viewers who want new First 48 related content should listen to Jason White’s podcast “Into the Fire.” But it is cool to be able to take First 48 episodes with you, even if it’s not... more
