The First 48 is a great television show. Unfortunately, the producers and writers of the podcast version have seriously missed the mark. If the interviews were audible, and audio from basically everyone but the police could be understood, the host would be useless. His only job as narrator is to add disclaimers, and repeat the summation of whatever was just said that couldn’t be understood. He adds no value to the content of the show.

This is not a good enough adaptation of the show for podcast listening. The only reason TV viewers can ever understand interrogations and interviews is because of subtitles.
The host MUST read the script of these so it is legible to podcast listeners or this adaptation is utterly useless. Surly you observed this before posting the episodes, so why release them like this?
