Q: How has switching representation from New Zealand to Australia affected your opportunities and mindset going into 2026?
Australia has shown care and support beyond politics, giving me the chance to compete for a country that values my growth and allows me to pursue top-eight Olympic-level performance, which has renewed my motivation and confidence.

Q: What was your mindset entering Mt. SAC and how did you adjust your preparation for the race?
We shifted from focusing on time to execution, especially in the seven quality pushes out of the blocks, and Coach E gave me a specific target that helped lock in the start and allow the rest of the race to unfold.
