  • Do better

Good info but Megan’s speaking is so distracting by her constant sucking in of air and clearing her throat. You’d think a podcaster would listen to herself speak and realize how irritating it is.

  • Shills selling stuff

I get that one needs to monetize, but after enduring a seemingly endless commercial for their tea and bone broth, I see the cynical sales pitch behind these guys. Hard unfollow.

  • Great Info, Bad audio

Overall, this is a great podcast when it comes to fasting. I do find the topics and information to be valuable. However, with so many episodes in, I am shocked that the host have not invested in better podcast microphones.

Something like the Shure MV7 or Podmic would do wonders for the show.

  • Dropped a star for God reference

I’ve been listening to this podcast for years and was surprised when the guest cited his opinion based on what he thinks God wants. Seriously? So much for the scientific method. Unfollowing

Do cardio on eating days when possible and reserve more intense strength training for fasting days; ensure proper hydration and consider having bone broth or electrolytes before workouts to maintain energy.
How to Start Fasting Without Overwhelm
Q: How do I break a fast without overeating?
Focus on consistency, allow your body to access fat stores, and use strategies like eating a half-portion initially and waiting 30 minutes before finishing the meal to prevent overeating.
How to Start Fasting Without Overwhelm
Q: How do I choose the right fasting schedule for me?
Start with a time-restricted eating plan for two to four weeks to establish baseline habits, then gradually incorporate 24-hour fasts up to three to four times a week, adjusting based on how you feel, weight, and metabolic markers.
Why OMAD Stops Working (And What to Do Instead)
Q: What variations of OMAD do work well and why?
Variations like a 30-hour fast three times a week while still having one meal a day on weekdays can maintain the physiological fasting benefits, prevent adaptation to a single pattern, and help overcome plateaus by alternating fasting duration and meal timing.
